We're a husband and wife team with over 8 years of professional photography experience. We know that stepping in front of a camera can feel awkward, especially if you've never done a professional photo session before. That's exactly why we focus on creating a relaxed, fun atmosphere where you can be yourself. We'll guide you through every pose, keep the energy light, and capture genuine expressions that reflect the real you, not stiff yearbook smiles.

Your Senior Session Experience

Every senior session starts with a planning call. We want to know about your hobbies, your style, the vibe you're going for, and any specific ideas you have. Are you a varsity athlete who wants to incorporate your sport? A musician who wants to bring your instrument? Someone who just wants to look incredible in a natural setting? We'll build the session around what matters to you.

On the day of your session, we'll meet at your chosen location and spend about an hour together. We'll work through different poses, angles, and backdrops, mixing it up between close-up portraits, full-length shots, and candid, in-between moments that often end up being the favorites. If you're bringing multiple outfits, we'll plan natural transition points so the session flows smoothly without feeling rushed.

Within 3 weeks, you'll receive a beautifully curated online gallery with 30+ professionally edited images. From there, you can download your favorites, order prints, and share them with family and friends. We also offer fine art prints, canvases, and graduation announcement cards to help you celebrate in style.

Lake Stevens waterfront: The shores of Lake Stevens offer stunning water reflections and mountain views during golden hour. It's a classic choice for seniors who want a clean, natural backdrop with soft light.

Centennial Trail: This beloved trail winds through forests, open meadows, and farmland. It's perfect for seniors who love the outdoors and want variety in their portraits without changing locations. The dappled light through the tree canopy is absolutely beautiful.

Downtown Snohomish: For an urban, eclectic feel, the historic streets of downtown Snohomish provide brick walls, vintage storefronts, and colorful murals. This is a fantastic option for seniors who want a more editorial, fashion-forward look.

Mill Creek Town Center: brick walkways, storefronts and tree-lined streets for a polished, urban look close to Henry M. Jackson High School, with parks and trails nearby when you want greenery in the gallery too.

We are based in Lake Stevens and take senior pictures for students from high schools across Snohomish County. Yearbook deadlines vary by school, so check our yearbook deadlines by school before you pick a date.

Lake Stevens High School: our home town, with the Lake Stevens waterfront, Lundeen Park, Cavalero Hill Park, and the Centennial Trail all minutes away.

Glacier Peak High School: in Snohomish, where the brick storefronts of historic downtown and the Centennial Trail are a short drive from campus.

Snohomish High School: downtown Snohomish is right in town for an editorial, storefront-and-mural look, with the Centennial Trail nearby for greenery.

Granite Falls High School: about fifteen minutes from our base in Lake Stevens, with the mountain and river scenery of the Cascade foothills close by.

Marysville Getchell High School: Marysville is just minutes from Lake Stevens, and Jennings Memorial Park and the Ebey Waterfront Trail are two of our favorite spots in town.

Marysville Pilchuck High School: the same short drive, with the Strawberry Fields area and historic downtown Marysville for two very different backdrops.

Arlington High School: the Centennial Trail, Haller Park, and the Stillaguamish River are all nearby for a natural, riverside look.

Everett High, Cascade, Sequoia, Archbishop Murphy and Mariner: for Everett seniors we work along the waterfront, at Howarth Park and Forest Park, and at Grand Avenue Park with its view over the bay.

Henry M. Jackson High School: Mill Creek Town Center is right in town for storefront and brick-walkway senior photos, a short drive from the Everett and Snohomish locations above.

What to Bring

Outfits: We recommend 2 to 3 outfits that showcase different sides of your personality. Think about mixing casual and dressy, a favorite pair of jeans and a leather jacket, then a more polished look for something formal. Solid colors and layered textures photograph best. Props and personal items: This is your session, so bring anything that represents who you are. Letterman jackets, sports gear, musical instruments, art supplies, your favorite book, or even your car. We've photographed seniors with all of these and more. These details make your gallery feel personal and authentic.

Pets: Yes, bring your dog! Some of our most memorable senior portraits feature the family pet. Pets bring out natural, joyful expressions and add so much personality to the images.

Touch-up essentials: A small mirror, lip balm, a brush or comb, and blotting papers go a long way, especially for outdoor sessions on warm days. If you're having your hair and makeup professionally done beforehand, bring a small touch-up kit.

The best time to book your senior portrait session is the spring or summer before your senior year. For the Class of 2028, that means reaching out in spring or summer 2027 to secure your spot. Our most popular months are July through October, when the Pacific Northwest weather delivers long golden hours and warm, even light.

Booking early guarantees your preferred date and time slot, and gives us plenty of room for a planning session so everything is dialed in before we pick up the camera. If you're a fall senior and want images ready for graduation announcements, yearbook submissions, or holiday gifts, a summer session is the way to go.

Senior pictures start at $475 for the Essential session: a planning call, one hour at a location of your choice, professional editing, and an online gallery of 30+ images. Classic ($650, 2 hours) and Signature ($850, 3 hours) add locations, outfits and images.

Where do you take senior photos in Snohomish County?

We take senior photos all over the county: the Lake Stevens waterfront, Lundeen Park and Cavalero Hill Park, the Centennial Trail, downtown Snohomish, Jennings Memorial Park in Marysville, Howarth Park and the waterfront in Everett, and Mill Creek Town Center. We're also open to meaningful places you suggest, a family property, your school campus, or anywhere that feels like you.

How many outfits can I bring?

We recommend 2 to 3 outfits for great variety. Our standard one-hour session comfortably accommodates 2 full outfit changes. Each change only takes a few minutes, and we plan the session flow so transitions feel natural and easy.

Can I bring props or my pet to the session?

Absolutely! We love when seniors bring items that reflect their personality, sports gear, instruments, letter jackets, or art supplies. Pets are very welcome too. Just let us know in advance so we can plan the session around it.

What if it rains on my session day?

If the forecast calls for heavy rain or unsafe conditions, we reach out the day before and reschedule at no cost. Overcast skies are actually ideal for senior portraits (soft light, no squinting) so light drizzle we usually keep going.

How do we reserve our date?

A signed agreement and a 50% retainer secure your date; the balance is due before your session. We accept Zelle (fee-free) and the details come with your agreement. Until the agreement is signed, the date stays open.

Are digital files included?

Yes. Every senior package includes professionally edited digital images delivered in a private online gallery with a full print release: 30+ images with Essential, 50+ with Classic, and 75+ with Signature. Download them, print them, and share them as you like.

Do you take senior pictures for Everett and Mill Creek high schools?

Yes. We photograph seniors from Everett High, Cascade, Sequoia, Archbishop Murphy and Mariner in Everett, and Henry M. Jackson High School in Mill Creek, as well as Lake Stevens, Snohomish, Glacier Peak, Marysville Getchell, Marysville Pilchuck, Granite Falls and Arlington. Every package includes a yearbook-formatted image.
