How long does it take to build my website?
Most projects are completed in 4 to 8 weeks from the kickoff call, depending on the package and how quickly content is provided. Starter sites typically launch in 3 to 4 weeks. Premium custom builds with advanced features take 6 to 8 weeks. We share a detailed timeline at the start of every project so you always know what to expect.
Do I need to provide my own photos and copy?
You provide your photos — after all, your work is the star of your site. For copy, we can work with what you provide, help you refine it, or write it for you (copywriting is available as an add-on). If you are a photographer, we can pull directly from your existing galleries to build out your portfolio pages.
Will my website show up on Google?
Every site we build includes foundational SEO: proper title tags, meta descriptions, canonical tags, structured data (Schema.org), fast load times, mobile-first build, and a submitted sitemap. Business and Premium packages include a deeper SEO setup with keyword targeting and Google Search Console configuration. We also have direct experience growing a local business website from obscurity to page one — we apply that same knowledge to every client site.
What platform do you build on?
We build primarily in pure HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for maximum performance and zero platform lock-in — your site will be blazing fast with no monthly CMS fees. For clients who need a content management system, we also build on WordPress or Webflow. We will recommend the right platform for your specific needs during the discovery call.
What is included in the monthly maintenance plan?
The $149/month maintenance plan covers: plugin and software updates, security monitoring, uptime monitoring, monthly performance checks, up to 1 hour of content updates per month (text, photos, pricing changes), and priority email support with a 24-hour response time. It is the best way to keep your site secure, fast, and current without needing to touch the code yourself.
Do you work with clients outside of Washington State?
Absolutely. Web design is fully remote and we work with clients across the US. Our photography roots are in Snohomish County, WA, but our web design work has no geographic limits. All communication happens via video call and email, and we use collaborative tools to share designs and collect feedback at every stage.
