The Brief
Dream Experiences needed a booking platform for their premium shuttle service connecting hotel guests in Quincy, WA to The Gorge Amphitheatre — one of the most iconic outdoor concert venues in the world. At $100 per seat round trip, the site had to communicate the value of a stress-free concert experience: no designated driver, no navigating dark rural roads, no parking chaos.
The platform needed to do more than just sell seats. It had to serve as a concert calendar, showing upcoming events at The Gorge with available shuttle dates, tiered pricing options, and a booking flow that felt as premium as the experience itself. Every design decision had to reinforce the idea that Dream Shuttle is not just transportation — it is part of the experience.
The Challenge
Concert-goers are in a state of anticipation. They are excited, impulsive, and browsing on their phones. The booking experience had to channel that excitement into conversions while handling the practical complexity of event-specific scheduling, seat availability, and tiered pricing — all without slowing the user down or killing the vibe.
There was also a trust challenge. Dream Shuttle was a new service, and visitors needed immediate reassurance that this was a legitimate, premium operation — not a random rideshare. The design language had to convey established luxury from day one, making the brand feel like it had been running sold-out shuttles for years even though it was just launching.
Finally, the event calendar integration was critical. The site needed to display real concert dates at The Gorge, link each event to available shuttle departures, and make the connection between "I want to see this show" and "I need a ride" feel instantaneous and obvious.
The Approach
We built the site around a dark obsidian color palette with terracotta and dusty rose accents — an editorial luxury aesthetic that feels more like a high-end travel magazine than a transportation website. The dark theme creates an immersive, cinematic atmosphere that mirrors the experience of a night at The Gorge, while the warm accent colors add approachability and energy.
The hero section features a slow-panning background that draws visitors into the experience before they have even scrolled. A grain texture overlay adds tactile depth to every surface, reinforcing the editorial quality of the design. Google Fonts Libre Caslon and Syne were paired to balance classic elegance with modern sharpness — the typographic equivalent of a luxury shuttle experience.
Experience tiles with hover effects showcase the shuttle journey, while the concert booking calendar presents upcoming events in a clean, scannable format. Each event card links directly to seat selection, and the tiered pricing system is displayed with clarity so guests can choose their level of experience at a glance. SVG-animated icons bring subtle life to feature sections without competing with the content.
