This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or use our services, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

When you submit a contact form, booking inquiry, or reach out to us via email or phone, we may collect:

  • Full name

  • Any other details you share with us in your message

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, certain information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent on pages, and referring URL. This data is collected by Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook) Pixel, described further in Section 4.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and booking requests
  • Communicate details about your session, contract, and gallery delivery
  • Send appointment reminders or follow-up messages
  • Improve our website and understand how visitors interact with it
  • Advertise our services on platforms like Facebook and Instagram (with your implied consent by visiting our site)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. Use of Photos & Images

As part of our photography services, we capture images and video of you and your family. Here is how we handle those images:

  • Portfolio & website: We may feature your photos on our website portfolio with your consent, which is typically outlined in your client contract.
  • Social media: We may share your photos on Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest to showcase our work. If you prefer your photos not be shared on social media, please let us know in writing before or during your session — we will honor that request.
  • Blog posts: Real session stories may be featured on our blog. These posts will not include identifying details (such as your last name or address) without your explicit consent.
  • Advertising: We may use session images in paid advertising on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) or Google. If you have concerns, contact us before your session.

We never sell your images to stock photo agencies or third parties. Images shared publicly will not include private information about you.

4. Cookies & Analytics

Our website uses the following third-party services that set cookies and collect data:

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors find and use our website. Google Analytics collects anonymized data such as pages visited, session duration, geographic region, and device type. Google may use this data in accordance with its own privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.

Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram)

We use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram advertising and to reach people who have previously visited our website with relevant ads. The Meta Pixel collects information about your browser, device, and actions on our site. You can manage your ad preferences through your Facebook Ad Settings or by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page.

5. Third-Party Services

We work with the following third-party platforms that may process your data as part of our business operations:

  • Google (Analytics, Gmail): Used for website analytics and email communications.
  • Meta (Facebook, Instagram): Used for social media presence and advertising.
  • Pinterest: Used for sharing portfolio images.
  • Gallery delivery platforms: We may use third-party gallery hosting services (such as Pic-Time, Pixieset, or similar) to deliver your finished photos. These platforms have their own privacy policies.
  • Payment processors: If you pay online, payment processing is handled by a secure third party (such as Square, PayPal, or similar). We do not store your payment card information on our systems.
  • Email & scheduling tools: We may use tools like Google Workspace or scheduling apps to manage client communications and appointments.

Each of these services is governed by its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review those policies if you have questions about how they handle your data.

6. Data Retention

We retain your contact information and session details for as long as necessary to fulfill our services and comply with legal obligations — typically for 3–5 years after your session date. Inquiry data from people who do not book with us is retained for up to 12 months. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8 below).
